I am the child within

Glorious times of light and bliss were shattered into pieces,

When I came through the sand glass of physicality.

Now I lie here in the velvet dark of forgetfulness.

I am who I am, but that’s not enough,

Segments of consciousness spread throughout the space,

That I cannot find,

Make me wander in a deserted three dimensional world.

I lose and find myself over and over again,

I am deaf to the angel’s whispers;

I am blind to my guide’s faces;

I am voiceless to my desires.

Breathe life into me momma,

My body is an empty vessel,

I am a marionette with an amnesiac soul,

Teach me what love is!

See into me papa,

I am an anonymous spirit,

In a body that I don’t recognize,

Chase the fears away!

I am the child within…
