I Imagine Dragons

The animal spirit flows through the snow landscape,

It doesn’t leave footsteps, except on my soul;

I try to conquer fears, but the heart is ravaged.

Thus, let us build white castles of hope in a dream,

and so, I imagine Dragons,

Flying on the wings of bliss,

Towards realms of happiness.

Let the wind take me to lands I have never been before,

Walk on the streets of crowded cities,

Inhale the air of their aura,

and so, I will never breathe again,

To keep the memory within,

Tattooed on my soul.

Let me be kissed like I have never been kissed before,

and so, my lips will cherish its taste forever,

Encased in the heart chakra,

And bathed in the warmth of the salty blood.

Let me live like I have never lived before,

and I swear I will never die again,

But savor existence in all its ways.

I have never forgotten my dreams!

I just lost them among distant memories,

of my inner child’s craving for freedom.
