I

Nights with stifling and nauseous smell of nightmare,

demons and sere violets,

Strange dreams that hover like eagles.

(run, run, run!)

The Evil Demiurge built his nest between my ribs at 3 AM sharp.

I sometimes feel him when he fidgets inside while sleeping,

but I am too disgusted to fight back.

(leave, leave, leave!)

So I’ll let the antibodies fight instead, because ….

my guardian angel quit his job - it was too depressing.

Now he’s at the angels’ sanatorium.

(help, help, help!)

I’d still stick two fingers inside my throat to puke him out,

But now it’s too late, he’s already at the stage of devilish embryo,

so I’ll give birth to Nosferatu.

II

I am 300 feet underground,

but darkness doesn’t scare me anymore,

because I know that light is somewhere above.

(dig, dig, dig!)

I’ll find my way in the pitch black night,

Walking on the path that lingers within my soul;

Running, digging, digging, digging,

And finally BREATHE!

I now embrace my rebirth.
